I just upgraded my digital cable box to a DVR box. They are both Motorola(s). The Sony support site for my AV3000 only shows one code for cable boxes and DVRs (Code = 3103). The new DVR has a lot more features, which leaves me with a couple of questions.

Is there a way to see if I had previously programmed a key by Code or by Learning (if it was by code I'll leave it alone, but, if it was by learning I'll try the code or start fresh with programming it)? Can a button programmed by Code by added to with some extra learning? TIA

Just learn what buttons you need, or relable then learn. The square buttons on the touchscreen have four preset options you can choose from.

If you want to find out which buttons you have learned on, put the 3000 in learn mode. Learned buttons will not flash. If you want to change the preset code you will have to delete all learned commands first.

Nope. But what did you have in mind and maybe there is another answer.
