I just got a Sony AX4000 for Christmas. The only problem I am having is that my remote for my Yamaha HTR-5280 was destroyed at a party about a year ago. Using another universal remote I have been able to get almost every function except Power On. I can turn it off, but the power on does not work. This makes it very difficult to do macros if you can not turn on the heart of the system. I have gone through all of the Preset Codes and have not been able to get this working.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so how have they been able to overcome it? Does anyone have a 5280 or similar model Yamaha receiver that they could send me their .axe file so I can teach my remote? Does anyone have a Yamaha RAV212 remote that they could sell or lend me, I will pay all the shipping?
