I'm thinking about getting the RM-AX4000 but have been disappointed with the reviews/comments from owners on this forum and others.

I checked the Sony site and they have a SW update for this remote. Has anyone (with a RM-AX4000) tried this yet? I'm hoping that this update has fixed some of the userability issues.

Ttat i beleive is the original factory shipped software as the file has not been updated in the past few months

Yes,
I downloaded ver 1.0.01.08310 to replace the 1.0.00.07090 that was shipped in my unit. It did not fix any of the problems I needed to have fixed. It would be really nice if they provided a list of what the release fixed or enhanced. Anyone seen such a list?
Not that I really care until version 2.0 comes out :)
