We recently purchased our RM-AV3100 for a Sony entertainment system. The codes in the manual don't cover the stereo (#STR-K5900P) which came with our new entertainment system. I sure would appreciate any help in this matter!

Thanks in Advance!

Check the sticky thread at the top of the forum, you need to switch your receiver from AV2 to AV1 codeset, then the preset codes in the av3100 will work.

Thanx for the quick reply Edmund. I did as you suggested, switching from av2 to av1 and my remote for the most part is operating my receiver, but the volume control still is't working quite right. I can turn my receiver volume down, but not up (the vol. up button not doing anything).

I've also noticed that switching between av1 and av2 toggles the volume control problem from 'volume only down(av2) to volume only up(av1)'.
