If google didn't lie to me, you have a projector and a DVD recorder, for both of which there are no codes in Sony remotes.

You will have to learn everything if you have the original remote in working order.

Thanks Ron,

I have the original remotes.

Can you tell me what they call this command in english, so I can find it in my manual?

It is called "Using non preset remote control operations-learning function."

I don't have the manual for the RM-AV2500T, but in the US model manual it is on page 14.

Hi Steadi,

I have a VPL-HS1 and as Ron told you it was only to learn everything with the original remote. I used the CBL key to assign projector functions and everything is ok.

One thing is the light of the projector remote, RM-AV2500 don't use it for the hard keys.

Bye.

Nothing like keeping it simple, huh? :-)

Codelists are specific to the brand of remote, and very often to the specific model of remote.
