For anyone with more technical knowledge of remote than me:
Does anyone know if the VL710 supports toggle bits in RC6 (i am told by tech support my remote needs to support this)? I'm trying to use my RM-VL900, learned from the Microsoft MEdia Center remote, and i'm getting problems because the VL900 cannot correctly learn the commands. I thought because the 710 was newer maybe it would support them.

No, not on learned codes. However there's a registry change you can make to your computer to disable the toggle bit requirement (which is really a poorly thought out implementation of the RC6 protocol anyways). Search the forums for enabledebounce.
