Is this a Directivo? Then the code is SAT 020. If its a standard SAT, the code is 004.

Is actually model number HIRD-E1 Hughes Silver Edition

What address is your SAT set to, if its anything other then #1, no preprogrammed remote will have code. Most Hughes SATs have 6 addresses to choose from.
Way back, when there was only one alternate codeset for hughes SATs, it was the hitachi code, try 005?

You might need to change the CAB/SAT key from CABLE to SAT, then SA codes will work.

exactly how do I accomplish this.... tried what I found in other posts but do not believe it has worked.... wondering if I'm doing something wrong
