I recently purchased a Sony RM-V202 universal remote control for my Zenith tv/combo and the only problem that I'm having is that there is no code for the tv/combo codes for the Zenith brand. I tried to program it with just the TV codes but no luck. I've tried calling and searching the net but nothing seems to be working out. So, if anyone has any ideas on what to do please let me know

If it wasn't listed with the device sheet that came with your remote, more than likely it isn't in the default code database, which means you are out of luck unless the remote has learning abilities. I recently bought a RM-VL710 and found that it was missing all the DirecTV receivers that I own. I ended up having to teach the remote.

So, the only thing I can do is to press those little buttons more than 70 times to see if it'll pick up the right code?? oh that would not be very fun then

No point in doing that, there is no code. I suggest a new remote, like the one-for-all urc-6820 or 8820.

Will you stop writting that, yes the vl710 has tivo code, its CAB 3204. :)

- LOL. I did find the code for my HD-Tivo, but not for my Samsung TS360. :)

BTW, I sent a PM to you on the AVS forums thanking you for your help in finding the discrete "Standby" code for the HD-Tivo. I almost ran out and bought a remote until I realized that my Kameleon 6 in 1 was based on the same code base.

I did end up buying the Harmony 880 for the TV downstairs simply because my brother had a hefty BB discount!

i wanted to know if i already registered my RM-202 to one tv, can i register it to another tv. If so can i have the code for a ADVE\T T.V.

You can register it to another TV, but not to an Advent because there is no code listed in the code list for it.

i need help with codes for my RCA t.v. I own a RM-V202 and i lost the instruction manual. I really need the codes because i tired of manually changing the channels on the t.v.
