The IR signal on my Akai remote broke for one of our Tv's. So I cant use it, I had forgotten to teach my Av-3000 to operate it. Is there anyway i can still program the remote into the Av-3000 even though the remote needed to do it has been fried... Or should I start looking for a new Akai remote...

The code for Akai TV is 8003. Have you tried it, or done a search?

Ron,
I know you are the "guru" around here. Can you help a brother out?
I have the Sony Av-3000 and have had it for almost a year.
Long story made short:

It was the only remote that I had that controlled my Samsung HD Receiver.
Can you help me find a list of the program codes so that I can reprogram it to control the HD Receiver?
I also need to re-program all my other components.

Thank you so very much in advance.

Sorry but I don't understand the question.

The way I read your post, you have had the 3000 for almost a year, and it controlled your Samsung HD receiver. Then you say you need a list of codes to reprogram it, and you need to reprogram your other components.

Did you lose all your programming somehow in the 3000?

Do the preset codes not work?

Do you need to reset the 3000?

Do you have the original remotes to learn from?

You can see from these questions that I am at a loss to help you without more information about what you need to do and why. So let me know.

Ron,
So sorry for the confusion.
I did lose the list of pre-program codes, and thought that you might know where I can find that list.

As far as the Samsung HD Receiver, I don't have the remote to learn from.

So, I just need to know where to find the list of pre-programmed codes.

Thanks in advance.

Now that you explained it and I reread it I see what you mean. I guess I was looking for something compicated and it was really easy.

Click here to get the manual and codes for your Sony RM-AV3000/3000T remote, then click on Get File, and Then Save.

Ron,
Thanks... That is exactly what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to post another question thread, because I tried every single code that makes any sense to try (and even some that don't) and I can't get the HD Receiver to do anything.

Just have to see if anyone else has programmed a Samsung HD Receiver with this remote.

Thanks again for the help though.
