I have had my Sony AV3000 for several months and have been very pleased with its performance. Until last week. All of a sudden, when I pressed the "light" button, it would take me to the clock set functionality. Then, progressively, other buttons also started leading to the clock set screen. Now it seems that most buttons lead there. I've tried changing the batteries, but that had no effect. Any ideas?

Are you sure the new batteries are fresh and at full charge? As long as I have been working with the 3000, batteries have been the only thing that caused this problem.
