I have three of these units and have noticed that the Macro function acts differently depending which component button it is assigned to. To activate Macros assigned to my TV button I have to hold the button down for 2 seconds (similarly for the CD button). However for the STB, VCR, and DVD buttons I only have to press the button (not hold) to activate the macros.
Does anyone know why this is the case? What about a way to make the TV and CD buttons work like the others?

See page 42 of the manual, where it talks about the "component macro executing time". Component key macros can have 0, 1 or 2 second hold times.
Sounds like some of yours have a 2 second hold configured.

No problem - I know that manual can be a bit of a brute to get through!
