I'm trying to teach the Remote the individual keys from from a bose 321 system because no codes exist. When I try to do this I hit => commander/off & muting => Learn => AMP (hard button), the AMP menu buttons flash. Then when I try to teach each indivividual button I get 5 "NG" beeps as soon as I touch the button on the RM-AV3000 that I want to program even before I get the opportunity to press the other remote's button. Anyone else have this problem or a solution to it. It's really starting to annoy the hell out of me.

Do you have this problem when learning from any component, or just from the Bose 321, which shouldn’t have anything to do with getting 5 ng when you press the button. Try clearing the device completely and try again. Check out these threads. If you have tried everything you can to clear the remote, then you will probably have to do what the second owner did and replace the remote. I don’t know if fullflava ever solved his “5 ng” problem, but you can see by this that you are not the only one having problems. These are the only threads I can find that report this particular problem, so I would say it is probably the remote which is defective.
