Hello,
I have two UltimateTV boxes stacked on top of each other and would like to have a remote control set up which drives each box individually.
I can keep one on and one off and this keeps me out of trouble most of the time. However, sometimes they are both on because I'm watching one and the other is recording. In this case, the remote instructions affect both boxes. Is there an easy way to create a situation where the remote drives one particular box?
I apologize if this is an easy question -- I'm not an expert at this kind of stuff.
Thanks in advance, Bill

If they're both W60's, short of replacing one with an RCA or a tivo, there's nothing you can do. RCA utv's have 2 remote addreses, but the Sony only one. Sony Dtivo's have three codes, one being the same as the W60's.

That's bad news, but thanks for taking the time to provide good information!
