I just bought the AV2000 and cannot seem to figure out how or if it can be programmed to take over my JVC VCR's programming functions(i.e. set the timer to record upcoming TV programs)? The standard available buttons do not cover such functions. Also, I wanted the remote to take over most of the routine home theater controls I use on my Yamaha 3090's remote(Speaker volume levels, DSP modes). There do not seem to be enough buttons on the AV2000 to do this? The Mfg. codes for Yamaha do not work for the 3090 either. Am I expecting too much from the AV2000? If so, what other remotes out there will meet my needs? I had hoped the AV2000 would replace my other remotes 99+% of the time. I have a 30-day return window so prompt responses would be greatly appreciated!!
