I've had my AV2000 for a week now and I love it. I only have two complaints.
1. I can't use my picture in picture functions. On the Wega TV remote you can change the PIP channel, swap the two pictures, change the audio and move the PIP around the screen. The problem is that the remote also uses those buttons for other functions when the remote is set on VCR mode or on cable mode. I think the fact that the buttons have three functions each gets in the way of the learning. Any thoughts?
2. For some reason I can't learn off my sony 825 reciever's two way remote. Is it possible to learn from a two-way?
Thanks, Peter

It should be possible to learn off of a two way remote. I have a 30ES with a two way remote and I had no problem learning off of it. As for your other problem, I have a remote that controls other devices, and has buttons that control different things depending on what is selected. I had no problem with it and my AV2000. Good luck

Just make sure when you are learning commands from a remote with buttons that have multiple functions, that you select the proper function on the remote before you press the command to be learned. Other than that it is not a problem.
