I cant seem to get it to work! as long as not very expensive, i'd be willing to look into buying an universal remote that can be used on both Sanyo/vizio tv as well as the micca digital media player.

Vizio tv's use a very old code set, check the Goldstar tv codes. No way for the digital player.
