So I went and got a new one.. Did the on screen prompts and got it working in RF mode but only the volume. I can get it working in IR mode except volume. I was even on w/ tech support chat as they walked me through it.. and still won't work right. When I switch to RF Mode (which it was originally before my old remote stopped working) the new one doesn't work at all anymore. I'm hoping to save a tech support guy a trip here.... I also can't power the Tv off on the remote either in IR mode.. which I could before.

And the model # of the new remote? Does it have FCC sticker on the back? If not than its not RF capable.


What's the brand and model of tv?
