I just bought a Toshiba 42HM66 HDTV. Got it home and tried to get the remote for my Time Warner Scientific Atlanta DVR to control the TV. NO GO! The best I got was a code would allow the PWR button for TV to "turn down the volume"!
Here are the codes for Toshiba TV's & HDTV's supplied by Time Warner manual for the AT8550 remote.
TV
Toshiba 1042, 1060, 1061, 1062, 1087, 1091, 1097, 1098, 1130, 1131, 1183
HDTV
Toshiba 1172, 1173
I tried to scan all the codes procedure and it did not find anything that worked either.
Any suggestion! This is drving me crazy. I have to pwr off/on the TV with the TV remote but channel surf & DVR with the other remote. UGH!
