Actually, there is a workaround that might work ... some Pioneers that have that unusual high frequency range also accept another set of codes in the more normal ranges. You might try getting one of the OneForAll remotes (Cinema 6/7), and ordering their "advanced function codes" from the
web site, then if that works with your TV, teach your Marantz from that. Also many Pioneer receiver remotes can control the Pioneer TV, and the Marantz can learn from one of those. You'd probably miss some functions that way though.
