I just purchased the TC1000. I am having difficulty with the touch screen. It seems to be very sensitive, I need to be very specific when I touch a button. If am not right on "sweet spot" of the button it will not activate the signal. I have tried a light touch and a heavy touch, neither seems to work better than the other. I had a AV2000 that while it was sensitive it work 9 out of 10 times. The TC1000 works 1 out of 10 times. I have run through the touch screen calibration several times. Help. Did I get a bum unit should I get a Pronto?

Thanks Peter

If anything, mine is not sensitive enough. It appears to have been improved by the new software, but I can't say for sure.

Have you tried updating the software on your TC1000? It might fix your problem. If not, I would see about exchanging it for another unit.

I don't know anything about the Pronto, but I am extremely happy with my TC1000, especially after the software update.

Good luck!

Before the upgrade, I had to use direct pressure of my finger nail on the touchscreen area in order for the correct command key to be sent to the equipment.

After the upgrade, I can actually use my finger tip.
