Has this happened to you. I have had my TC for about 2 weeks now and was just getting it to do things
right when it started resetting of its own accord. I would operate my digital sat. system, put the TC down on the coffee table and then it would emit a little beep, and reset all the TC settings like screen timeout, time and contrast. What was worse, when I went back to the WATCH DIGITAL screen, some of the learned buttons were missing and others were corupted with funny graphics. When I phoned my dealer he said he would get in touch with HK and ask there advice, which he duly did. He phoned back 5 minutes later and told me that the internal battery, the one that holds all learned devices while you change the main batteries, was probably dead and that I should exchange the whole unit for a new one. Just thought I'd let you know.
