I've been using the Take Control for 2 weeks now. No problems with the range or direction.
It bounces off walls. It bounces off doors. It goes through blankets. It goes for over 25 feet.
Don't know about the IRIQ, but the Harman/Kardon seems to be just fine in this area.
Been searching the MSFT site for any specs about memory, with no luck. Anyone got any clue. Seems to me that the big key to upgradeablility is the memory. I have looked at the config file, stores references to the pre-stored data. To improve the remote, the PC software and firmware will have to do more. If there is more memory (which is very cheap and should be abundant) then the remote should be very upgradeable and forward looking.
Anyone got any info? Any company reps observing this site? Any one with inside connections?
