Can you recommend a remote for me? Pronto, sony or IRIQ

i am in the market for a remote and i am not sure what i want and i need some advice, money is not an issue, i just need some input. i like the IRIQ and i like the PRONTO but the sony is cheap, please help!!!

Well, if money is not an issue and you've got some time to program it, the Pronto is the way to go. Almost anything can be done. The Sony is a good model for those with a more modest budget, and is still very usable... if you have some specific questions, let me know.

i heard you can program the pronto with a computer, is this true or do i have to buy something extra?

If money is no issue, the Pronto is the way to go. However, check out my thread on the Palm Pilot. It's not as fancy as the Pronto, but it can do just as much, and more (Pronto does not support timed macros yet). I also hear it's a pretty good organizer. It can be had for a remote for around $205, software/hardware included.
