Hey,
The cable company gave this Checkmate V (Model RT-U50) remote (manuf. by Contec Corporation). I have the manual and all, but the codes on the manual are not working for my Samsung CXJ1964 TV/VCR combo. I finally managed to find that the code 172 (which is not listed for Samsung in the manual) works partially; and by partially I mean for the VCR controls (it doesn't adjust the volume, etc.).
So I was wondering if you know the code, or is it possible that this is the most I can get out of this remote for my device? Thanks for all the help.
