Hi there,
I'm looking for a universal remote that can work a Seleco 400 projector and a mix of other brands - Harman Kardon Amp and processor, JVC VCR, Sony DVD.
I note that the best way to use these remotes are the macros facilities. I want something that I can edit on a Apple Mac computer and that can assign single buttons to complex button switching sequences.
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance

Well, ignoring the high-end (>$1000) remotes, about the only one is the Pronto. It's not designed for it, but folks have found certain cables and emulator software that does indeed work.

I am interested in buying one of the Pronto models but it is not available in the UK. Any suggestions where I can reliably buy one to be shipped over to the UK. Am I likely to face any compatability problems with UK components and warranty?
Any more detailed advice on what other software, cables etc I need for the macros to work on a Mac.
Again, thanks for your comments

Do a search on MacOS here, or just browse througvh the Pronto chat list and find hte threads.
There's quite a bit of detail already there...
In short, see Insignia for the Windows emulation (not Connectix) and someone liek Keyspan for the appropriate cable-adapter.
