The remote you have (CRK70G1) was originally shipped with a TV. Therefore the TV button cannot be reprogrammed.

I need to find a remote that will fully operate a Pioneer 5000 series cable box! Currently, I have a RCA SystemLink 4 universal remote. It does not allow me to punch in the channel on the cable box. HELP!! Is there another code I can use besides 033 or 034??

I have a Sony RM-V18A that I seem to be unable to program it to operate a Zenith Z-TAC cable box. My other Sony remotes will operate this box, and I can change channels using the VCR's cable "mouse". This only changes channels, and if the box gets turned off, I have to go to another room to turn it back on. I am using the "powermid" IR to RF to IR extender, and occasionally, changing a channel will power off the cable box. I then have to turn the box back on, either with another remote, or at the box itself. Sony was no help at their 800# I also haven't been able to program the AV1 button to operate my Sony A/V receiver. Any help would be appreciated.
