Hi all,

The pronto isn't even for sale yet in Belgium
I am very interested in buying one
are there any known incompatibility problems
with this unit that I might expect...
I can't think of one... since all the functions
can be programmed. Could anyone comment on this
and tell me where I could buy one (at a good
price )

Thanks in Advance,

Tom.

The Pronto will be sold in Europe starting sometime in September. Until then, you can try buying one from the US but it seems Philips has illogically begun cracking down on out-of-region sales. It's illogical because until there is an IN-region product available you simply loose sales and irritate customers. There are no problems with running the US Pronto in Europe, though if you get the desktop charger you'll need a new converter.

Hi DAniel,

Thanks for the very quick answer
With the convertor do you mean
that I just need a transfo to switch from 230Volt
to 110 ???

Any suggestions on where to buy the PRONTO???

Thanks,

Tom.

A 230 -> 110v converter may do the trick. Otherwise you can buy a general-duty 230v AC/DC adapter. The charger has a removable cord that uses a generic plug. All the specs you'd need are printed on the converter.

If anyone in Europe is looking for a Philips Pronto... they could be ordered from
'Let's automate' and can be found
at www.letsautomate.com
most dealers won't ship this product overseas...
(stupid Philips policy...)

Bye

Tom.
