I have downloaded some configurations from this amazing website. In some there are devices in RED and I cannot see them in the Pronto. When I create a device, his color is grey with green but not RED like this ones. What does this mean ??

Thank you !!

Hide Devices:
By hiding devices in the tree view, you make them invisible in the Device Overview on the ProntoPro NG. However, they are still part of the configuration file and you are still allowed to jump to them from other pages. Typically you store action libraries as hidden devices (with hidden pages) in your PCF.

Hi Lowpro

I asked that because there is a configuration file (I downloaded it from this webpage) that you can hide pages (make them private) but shows them with a PIN. Here is the link:

I hope this will be useful.

The reason to hide a page in any given device, whether that device is hidden or not, is to prevent the page up and page down special actions from cycling through said pages. As with hidden devices, you then can only access a given hidden page via a page jump from another button.

In my configuration file all devices are hidden. All pages are hidden within each device as well. The only exceptions to this are my DIRECTV channel icon pages, my DVD cover image pages, and my Device Gallery. Within each respective device those are the only pages I want one to be able to page up and down through freely in the remote. All other pages of my configuration file are controlled by page jumps.
