OK, I've got the antenna up and am finally getting ALL of my local digital channels, and now I'm trying to program the Pronto for the new channels. However, the 811 learns the channels and then assigns a "channel" to them like 12-01 or 46-02, rather than 9424. Any idea how to access these channels directly via the remote and not going through the guide? When I punch in 12 it doesn't do anything at all.

Thanks.

In case anyone ever needs this, in order to punch in those channels it has to be a 5 digit code, starting with a zero and with a zero in place of the dash

So: 04-01 = 00401; 12-01 = 01201 and so on.

Thanks, this is VERY useful. However, it seems to be a little misstated - the dash is ignored/automatically placed by the receiver. It's only the leading zero that changes things.

When I enter 040, for example, the display changes to "040-" and waits for me to enter 00 for the analog channel or 01 for the HD digital channel. There is no "zero for the dash" involved.

But a great bit of info, and I'm surprised it's not specified anywhere in the DISH811 manual or help.
