In case anyone ever needs this, in order to punch
in those channels it has to be a 5 digit code,
starting with a zero and with a zero in place
of the dash
So: 04-01 = 00401; 12-01 = 01201 and so on.
Thanks, this is VERY useful. However, it seems to be a little misstated - the
dash is ignored/automatically placed by the receiver. It's only the leading zero that changes things.
When I enter 040, for example, the display changes to "040-" and waits for me to enter 00 for the analog channel or 01 for the HD digital channel. There is no "zero for the
dash" involved.
But a great bit of info, and I'm surprised it's not specified anywhere in the DISH811 manual or help.
