Hi,
Im a hugefe fan of this great remote. I have been using a laptop computer to run the software to program this device without issues; originally I installed with the "compatibility"option in windows 7.
After several years this laptop dies. I can Install the software in all of my other computers BUT none of them recognices the remotes, looks like the USB driver is not found. I have tried all the ports and nothing.
I do not remenber correctly but I think the USB driver is included in the ProtnoproEdit NG software right?
your help will be REALLY apreciated, IM frustrtated about this problem, all my system runs under this only remote and as I told you before, I love it!.
thanks in avdance

You will first need to install the software to register the USB driver. Then plug remote into the computer.

I put together a long thread about removing/updating USB drivers several years ago that involved editing the Registry. I know it is here but I forget the keywords. try replace usb driver or update usb driver. These instructions, of course, were for XP but hoping you can figure it out for Win7.
