Wanted to download the ProntoEdit NG so I could see what I could do before ordering the TSU-3000 to replace the TSU-1000 I've had since 1998.
During the installation, I get an error 2457 and it won't finish.
Any ideas?

Try putting the entire error message into Google. I installed Windows Me shortly before installing PENG and had a similar problem. It turned out that the Windows install replaced another file that was newer than the one that came with Windows Me.
Google pointed me to the microsoft web page that had the fix for my problem (they told me the file name and where the OS upgrade had copied the original file).

Just FYI. I installed PENG on several WinXP machines of mine (a desktop and a couple of laptops). I tried with the downloaded version as well as the version that came on the CD included with the remote. Same error regardless of what I installed on which PC. In the end, PENG works great (well, for the most part...) on all of the different machines.
