Hi all

can some knowledgeable person tell me the differences between the philips pronto ru970 and ru990 please?

Philips' website is not playing ball at the moment and I can't find the infor anywhere!

The 970 is the original colour Pronto and equivalent to the 6000. It is very old technology and ceased production years ago. It uses the CCF format. You do not want to go near this model.

The current consumer range is the Pronto NG using the PCF format. The first colour models were the 7000 (980). These were updated to the 7500 (990).
