I have a Samsung LCD TV which recently got serviced. After it got serviced I start getting the IR interference for the first 5 min after TV has been turned ON. During that time I cannot control my Dish receiver. The receiver can be controled using the RF remote. Can TSU7000 send RF commands?

It looks like the IR interference occurs because of the "LCD's backlight". What is the "LCD Backlight" and is there a way it can be controlled?

Is it possible to fix IR interference?

Anyone know what UHF frequency does Dish ViP622 receiver uses? Is it 433Mhz or 418Mhz?

Thanks.

Are you using direct line of sight or do you use an IR receiver?

You can use a Pronto RFX6500 RF receiver with the 7000 but you can not control the Dish box directly from the pronto via RF.

You can tone down the picture using the picture setup options in the menu.

Fix, no. Deal with, Yes. You need to provide more details about your system, environment and how exactly is your system controlled.

Problem fixed.

Applied 3 layers of Scotch Tape on the 622 IR receiver area and colored the top layer using a black marker. Interference is gone.
