Help, I have been building my pcf config file for many months now and just ran into this problem. I was down loading and got the Download has failed message. I have unintalled and reinstalled the program (pronto edit) with the same results after a fresh install. I can download the factory default but that is it. I have tried old pcf files from months ago and they don't work now either. I have about 58% free memory. I had downloaded about 10 times last night and then i got this message and I have not had success since. Help.

You will first need to reboot your PC. If that does not work, search for +Possible +USB +Issues and follow the links. You may need to reinstall the driver, especially if you had the remote connected when you installed the software.

What OS?
How much memory?
Are you using Virtual PC on a Mac? If so, that will never work.

Have you updated the firmware in your Pronto?
What model Pronto do you have?

I just got my tsu-3000 and I am having the same problem. I upgraded the firmware and it is telling me the CF version is not correct or the memory is corrupt. I'm still messing with it and going to try to redo the drivers. Hopefully that will fix it. I haven't even gotten to use it yet.

The message usually means that the firmware in the Pronto does not match the version of ProntoEdit you are using.
