Hi!
I'm trying to create some semi-transparent panels as overlays to existing background panels. I tried to do it with Paint Shop Pro but didn't manage to do it until now.
Can someone help me and give some information on how to create semi transparancy with PSP?
Thx a lot!!!

What you do is to create a PSP image with 2 layers. Put all your graphics on the top layer. On the bottom layer, fill it in with white. Then, set the layer opacity to 1%. Save this as myfile.pspimage.
Then, use the Export Wizard to export a PNG and on the Transparency tab, select 'Image Transparency' and continue to save the file as myfile.png.
Load the file into the remote. Even though the image looks transparent, the entire rectangle can then be pressed.
If I recall correctly, there's a discussion of how to do this in the PPENG Help File. Press F1 while inside the software and search for transparency if you have not already done so.

Hi!
Found it out myself now!
I am using Paint Shop Pro 9 - create new image file (*.png) - choose size - choose first option of picture properties (...background) - select "transparency"
- put in whatever you want (copy-paste or self made by brushes or filling tool or effects...) - choose layers menu - select layer properties - insert a value of opacity less than 100% - select visibility of layer - ok - save
that's it!
Thanks anyway for helping!
