I just got my IR543 and can't figure out how to get codes 10-16 to work on it. On my x10 remote you just enter 1-0-ON, but that doesn't work on the 15-2117.

I guess you didn't re-check your earlier post. This was answered there. They are on the "Transport keys. Rob gave specifics about which was on which key. Drop down a couple threads to your old one and you'll find the answer already given.

Using code 0167 with the 2117, nothing is mapped to the transport keys. So you'll need to use advanced codes for address 10-16; 205-10 206-11 204-12 014-13 012-14 015-15 013-16 See this thread for directions on entering the advanced codes; [Link: remotecentral.com]

I did read it, but I think it went over my head at the time. I was thinking it was in answer to the dim question, and I didn't understand it.
Thanks, Brian

Thanks. That did the trick. I'm now officially on one remote for the first time in five or six years.
Thanks for the help everybody. Look forward to trying the jp1 stuff if there is ever support for linux.
