I just recieved and email from OneForAll customer service. The the upgraded model of the URC 8090 IR/RF remote will be out in mid November. It's the same remote but with LEARNING capability. Model # will be URC9800.
The 8090 model is difficult to program becasue you need device codes emailed to make half the stuff out there work. Could'vd avoided all that time wasting in the first place with a prgammable remote.
They finally figured it out what they should have offered in the first place.
ABye

It has a number of worthwhile upgrades, however all-button learning isn't one of them. You are limited to six learned keys per device. They don't work quite like the Cinema6/7 learners.

how long did it take them to email you back? I wrote them a week ago, and they still haven't gotten back to me!!!! UGH! this is so annoying to have a new playtoy and not be able to use it except to power on and off your components. Oh well.
