Where can I learn more about this remote? I have the Pronto...and frankly I'm a little unhappy with it. It takes to too much work to make it look cool...and sometimes I find it hard to find the buttons in the dark. This new remote looks like it has more hard buttons, which I would like.
I really want to find a remote that has many of the same learning capabilities as the Pronto...such as the ability to chain commands and have a single button turn everything on and set everything up... I just want more hard buttons and less fancy graphics...

Have you seen the new Marantz 5200 (here is an image of the 9200, the 5200 looks the same but it has a gray screen)
If you want some more info look at [Link: remotecentral.com]

But isn't that hideously expensive (like a few hundred more than the Pro)?

The 5200 is MSRP $599. The 9200 is $1299, but comes with the RF base, more hard buttons and a longer warranty than the Pro at $999 + $149.

MRSP is not that much more then the Pronto, since it also comes with the charger. And you have the bonus of RF if you feal like it. But when I was looking for a remote (a long time ago) I found that the street price on the Marantz remote did not go as low as a Pronto.
Robert: I have not heard of anyone getting one yet. But if you search the Pronto forum, I think there were a few people that mentioned that they will be arriving soon
