How do you set the house code to something different than A? I've downloaded the x-10 into my MX-800 and see the on/off, dim/bright & numbers buth where are the house codes?

What type of X-10 receiver are you using? I have an X-10 IR543 and there is a dial on the top of the unit to set house code. There is only one set of MX IR codes for X-10, AFAIK.

You will need to use two codes to do this. Code LIGHT 257 or [X-10 3] in the IR database contains the house codes. You can create a third device with "shortcuts" to combine your house codes and locations all in one place. Give that a shot and let me know if it works for you.

That works Damon, but you need the IR543AH (modified all house code) controller. The only drawback is dim/bright actions require multiple button presses. They screwed something up while they were in there modifiying it.

David,
Ah, thanks for the info on that X-10 IR receiver. I haven't looked at their stuff for a while and I have only used the earlier IR receiver. =)
Thank you, Damon DG
