Description
I just called Crestron and these are the current prices:
1 STS-1550C (color touchpad and computer processor) $3900.00
1 STPC (power controller) $ 225.00
3 STCS (current sensors) $ 1125.00
2 STSPL (ir splitters) $ 106.00
10 wired ir self adhesive cords for component's eyes $ 350.00

TOTAL $ 5706.00

I was also charged 8 3/4% new york city sales tax, but that’s my problem so I'll eat that. I am looking to get $3300 for the whole system, which is below dealer cost. It is in perfect working condition and was never even programmed. The boxes were opened and the components were removed for installation. The installer "overbought" for my system and I was stuck with extra equipment that never was used but, was opened. I have the original manuals and warrantee cards, which were never mailed in. The dealer did said he would issue a receipt for the equipment as "new" in your name if I were to sell it, so you can register it and warrantee it as new and as your own, as the first time owner. My calculations tell me that I am selling it at a 40% discount from what I paid for it and even less if you figure in the tax you are not paying. E-mail back if you are interested.

OK, I should trust a dealer who, it appears to me, screwed you. I don't think so. I would think that the "over buy" is his to eat, either voluntarily or in small claims court.
