Periodically the iPronto stops sounding its "click" Rolling or pressing the "Click" wheel (I don't know what else to call it) sometimes, but not often helps. A reboot clears it. I am running the original firmware.
Any thoughts other than trying newer firmware?

The wheel works as both a volume control *and* a scroll wheel at the same time. So, too much "down" scrolling will turn the volume down to nill.

But then shouldn't rolling the wheel in the "up" direction raise the volume until it can be heard? It doesn't seem to.

Do it on a webpage. :-)
(Unless they've changed something in the firmware lately...)
