The Symfony Webpal as it is now know, is in fact far more powerful than an iPronto. You have to run it with a PC in real time. It just like having a wireless monitor. The bottom line is it is very powerful but it is only an extention of your PC. All IR commands come from the PC.
This my understanding of the product. I believe it to be a clone of the original Honeywell tablet.
