i just installed the latest software version of ipronto and now what is happening is that when i try to open an icf file a window pops up stating that has the title "microsoft visual c++ runtime library" and inside is states there is a runtime error with the description of where the ipronto software is installed.
anybody have any suggestions?

Been there done that from here and philips website. disabled virus software and still nothing.

i just removed it and re-installed it as Adminitrator on the window 2k system and now it gives me a window with Application Error
the instruction at 0x6c3b5115 referenced memory at 0x00000004 the memory could not be read.
click on OK to terminate the program

I would suggest then that your windows installation itself may be fubarred...
...The (i)Pronto setup apps are pretty solid - the actual errors reported are not a lot of use to anyone here and of little use even to the authors.
Try installing on another PC.
