After several attempts of using the Harmony simulator with my 680, I called Logitech and talked with the 1st and 2nd level support.

Here's the condensed version:

* The simulator does not support the 680
(my observation: they do have a version that supports the 680 but will not release it)

* The simulator is not a supported feature and will be removed from the site at the next web update.
Logitech Harmony remotes are Crippleware.

Of course they have it for internal use, but making it available to the public with all the various versions has got to be a headache and causes support problems of its own. So I can't say that I blame them.

I tried the simulator and didn't really feel it gave enough info to be truly useful. No big loss.

If you're having problems it's very helpful to see if the remote is sending the wrong commands or if your equipment isn't responding. You have to view the log to see the list of commands that were sent. Without the log it's hard to tell what's going on.

From your Harmony Home Page, click "Support" (top left), scroll down to "Tools" and select "Simulator Tool". Then click the "Download Harmony Simulator".
Note: Currently, the simulator supports only the 659, 688, 745, 748 and 768.

It's there on mine. Click Support and the last section is LABELED Support with 2 options:

IR Analysis Center
Simulator Tool

Here's the URL: [Link: members.harmonyremote.com]

Where's the little "jump-for-joy" icon when you need it.

Thank you very much for tracking this one down.

I tried this and it works in part...
I used generatercx to generate a raw code from "rc5 19 1" (in Pronto format: 5000 0000 0000 0001 0013 0001). The raw code is: 0000 0073 0000 000B 0020 0020 0040 0040 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 09B7.

I put this raw code into the "Data Value" field and...
" Converted from Pronto format successfully!"

0378S06F0P0378S00010D86

But... when I hit Next again, it says "Conversion Failure".

I guess I'm doing something wrong here?
