Just recently bought a Toshiba SD-V296 combo player that resides in a rack out of sight from the projector area. I have tried using a Xantech dinky link kit to control the unit but have had no success. The emitter blinks and has been placed all over the front of the unit but still no control. I even went so far as to put the emitter inside the unit directly in front of the lcd display but still no control. The plastic on the front bezel is so dark, even with a flashlight, I can't see anything but the lcd display circuit board.
Last resort would be to pull the cover off and place directly on the player's IR eye.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you had any luck with this?

I just got one of these for one of my customers and I will see if I can find the information you need. It's not installed yet and it will take me a few days to get to it.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
