Hello, i just purchased a Sony DVD recorder with Hard drive and a Oneforall Kameleon Universal remote control (code URC-6962) using the codes provided in the book and the search function of the remote, i can not get the DVD to sync with the remote. This is needed since i want to unlock region coding to watch my european DVDs while in Canada.
Can anyone provide me with a code or some help ?

Check the dvdr manual on how to switch codesets, from DVD3 to DVD1. Since the only sony dvd codes in the OFA remote match DVD1 codeset.
