hi everyone, happy holidays just want to see if anyone has a blu-ray player? and if so does it play ok. because when i went to buy superman returns on dvd the sales associate at circuit city was trying to play the blu-ray version but it would not load the funny part was he opened 4 other packages and nothing. so why would i want to pay $1,000 for a player that doesnt play what its suppose to play.no thank you ill wait til the third or fourth version come out. please submit your own trials or experience.

Uhm... since Superman was available on both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD it's possible the associate was trying the wrong format in the machine.

Good thought! So far the only disc I'm aware of their being issues with is X-Men: The Last Stand and the Samsung player (Fox has re-issued the disc).
