Folks,
I own Kenwood Soveraign 5900. Recently appeared problem with DVDs reading. Tech mentioned that the laser needs to be adjusted, but he was not profeccional enough to make this work. Does somebody know the details how to do that? If you have available instructions or schemes, it will really help.
Thanks,
Yakov

Ah, sounds like the old problem assocciated with mpeg codecs built into machines, i suggest a complete reset and perhaps rewire of the key electronic components in order to establish a secure and SAFE fitting of the laser.
perhaps a search on the interweb can bring up some useful guides. I myself simply call the experts in, due to having extremely expensive equipment!
Be sure to swab the laser with alcohol first to ensure a perfect fit!
regards.

No clue. To be honest, not many of samman1987's posts have made sense.

Sorry, don't know about the laser adjustment, but doesn't anyone have a user manual for the DV 5900? Mine appears to be "stuck" on one disc> I can't get the player to open or move on from where it is stuck. Any help out there?
