Question: Attempting to Copy a few Windows Media files to play on my T.V..
I've burned these files to a writable CD and attempted to play on DVD. I know I'm missing something here. Thanks in advance...

Your DVD player can't read WMV files, most likely. Or can't read them from a CD. DVD format is .vob, you could convert to that, perhaps. Or to VCD, which would likely be playable from a CD. You may have to put .vob or Windows Media on a DVDR instead of CDR.

easy way is to get nerovision and use it to transcode the WMV to meg2 and author it to a dvd... works great... although it currently does not support .MKV or OGG video containers
