I previously owned a Toshiba 57H82 which I controlled using a Sony RM-AV3000. I programmed the discrete on/off codes using a Radio Shack all-in-one remote. It worked beautifully.
Well, I recently had my tv replaced with a Toshiba 57HX93 and the discrete on/off codes no longer work. I figured with it being a newer model that the discrete codes would still work. Have they disabled the discrete on/off codes or changed them?
Thanks

Does the new toshiba respond to any commands using code TV0156 in the ofa remote? Because some new owners of toshiba tv's have posted on the tivocommunity, saying none of the toshiba codes in the tivo remote work their tv's.

Toshiba just released today a fix for the 93 series
tv's where the discrete on and off codes did not work. I just did the software upgrade on my set and it works great.Leyt me know if you want more info.
